There are a variety of consumer goods generally with short shelf life. They require strict management based on their lot numbers. These goods are easily lost and damaged. Many of these goods require a fixed temperature range as well as being kept from freezing. These include both light and heavy goods and the distribution volumes fluctuate in a wide range. Logistics management SOP:
On the basis of the logistic characteristics of FMCG, as well as requirements of GMP, 5S management and ABC management, HLS management SOP includes warehouse environment control, working procedure operation standards, operating records, vehicle checking standards, vehicle archives management, transportation tracking, and supplier audit. The SOPs can reach or even exceed the KIP requirement of customers. SOP covers inbound, picking, stock taking, outbound, return, environment control, equipment management, sanitation management, training systems, vehicle management, carrier management, trace and tracking, claim management, self-improvement and other items related to operations.
Logistic management system (Intelligent Supply Chain Management System):
HLS supply chain management system has comprehensive logistic management functions, and can be customized and expanded according to the actual requirements of our customers’ business. It can provide systematic management over the entire logistics operation, including transportation and warehouse, and customize various reports and enquiry functions according to the demand of the customer, it can improve the operational efficiency and to smooth logistic information management.
For instance, it is possible to enquire about all operation information online; track inbound and outbound of each product batch; conduct analysis on expiration dates, outbound forecasting, inventory trends, and inventory aging on a real time basis. With the statistical and analysis reports, the management staff can execute better operational control, avoid exceeding expiration dates and overstock of products, as well as providing suggestion for customers to develop inventory and sales strategies. The system can automatically arrange storage bins according to conditions such as availability of locations, rack restrictions on height and weight, quantity and weight of goods, and TIHI of goods. The system can also pick goods following the “FIFO” principle or other delivery requirements set by the client, to improve the utilization rate and the operation efficiency of the warehouse and reduce error rates. The transport-tracking module can effectively trace the status of goods which will facilitate real-time enquiries by the customers about their goods, and ensure that the goods are delivered to the customer on time, while reducing the risk of loss of the goods.
